Wayne Fox Workshop

It was great to see Wayne back at his second home. Fox is an out-and-out entertainer with a cheeky line or gag for everything, if that's not enough the magic is astounding and commercial.

Rather than a standard lecture Wayne turned this into a workshop, teaching an effect then moving amongst the tables helping and advising where needed. It was a great evening and everyone left with at least one new skill, or at the very least having a skill improved.

We started with his card to frog, card under box routine, and then a full in-depth tutorial about the top change, one-hand card fold, and frog origami card fold.

We moved on to a coin vanish and talked about the 10-minute learning technique to help retain the knowledge. There was also a lovely shuffled cards to deck move explained. A coin spin production, where a spinning coin transformed into a giant ball of rubber band (but could be anything that can be palmed).

Wayne went on to dem a couple of his items for sale including Saltaura and the light heavy pen.

It was great to see so many members and a couple of prospective members, it goes to show Wayne's appeal when it's the biggest turnout for a long time.
