How to be a wedding fair legend - Kevin Morton

Last Thursday we were in for a treat from our Chairman, Kevin Morton.

Kevin presented his lecture on all you need to know to be a Wedding Magician.

In the words of Rooster, it was 'Probably one of the most well prepared and 'real' talks on weddings. No BULLSHIT, straight to the point.

Kevin mixed Slides, Videos, Chat, and the odd bit of magic to get his points across. This was not a lecture on how to do 'tricks' it was a comprehensive talk on what every magician should know if they want to get into the wedding magic market.

The section on Wedding fairs went into how his stand is set up, his thoughts on approaching the couples, how he gets and records his leads, and closing the deal.

Kevin talked in great detail about how to manage the event, how to deal with children, how he likes to dress, the tricks he finds make the most impact, and how to interact with the photographer/videographer.

The lecture was also interspersed with a few tricks, lovely moments of comedy, and some wonderful testimonials.
